At the baby & toddler party we realise that as well as the younger guests you will also have a mixture of ages with family and friends. With this in mind we have designed a party that will be enjoyed by everyone although specifically aimed at the younger children don’t be surprised if granny joins in too!
Childrens music and rainbow lights are provided by professional disco equipment and our Party Entertainer will start the show getting to know the children whilst face painting. We also offer to paint hands/arms which some younger children find more appealing.
Next whilst still face/hand painting we meet some of our woodland animal puppet friends. A particular favourite of the children is a naughty little bunny rabbit who keeps popping up when he shouldn’t (the more naughty he is, the more the children love him).
Then its time for adventure games (these games have been specifically designed for younger children) using actions, music and imagination, even the smallest of children will want to join in. Then we meet the some more puppets who keep the children entertained with music, dancing and even a bubble machine.
Towards the end of the first hour we would assume that it is time for lunch/tea (provided by yourselves) – and at this point we will start blowing up our balloons ready for balloon modelling at the end of the party (we know that young children do not want to wait for their balloons so we blow them up ready for modelling thus making the process far quicker for eager recipients). Whilst the children are eating we put on their favourite music for them to listen to.
Following food we then sit the children down ready for the puppet show and this is when we bring out the birthday cake and organise the Happy Birthday Sing Song which we sing in English and in Welsh. (We have arranged it in this order to give you plenty of time to cut the cake for party bags). Don’t forget a lighter for the candles and your camera!
Then we have our puppet show which is a short story, lasting ten minutes, about a dragon called Dewi who cannot find a friend. All our shows are interactive where the children shout back at the puppets like a pantomime, keeping them involved and entertained.
Now it's party dancing and the children copy our Party Entertainer for some action dances with such favourites as wheels on the bus, music man, head shoulders knees & toes, etc.
At last it's time to find out who will be receiving those lovely balloon prizes for the games and dancing throughout the party, it is then decided that all the boys and girls who have come to the party have been so good that we decide to make them all winners and give balloon prizes to everyone.
Finale – we then call the birthday boy/girl up to the puppet theatre (we have usually gained their confidence by this time) and we interact with one of the characters from the show who presents them with a “special” balloon prize. We have three cheers for the birthday boy/girl and then thank everyone for coming. We then put on some Disney mood music for everyone to leave by so the atmosphere is still quite magical (We believe that it’s the small details that make all the difference!)
